There's something wonderful about being lost in one's work - the casamiento bubbles away on the stove, thickening nicely alongside the dosa, whose edges are just beginning to curl.  Marisol's mind is quiet, awaiting the snap and pop of the chicken joint under her fingers.

The knife cuts cleanly through the joint, separating the thigh from the leg, just in time to flip the dosa.  Service is still some ways off, but now is the time for family dinner - the kitchen's staff sharing a meal before getting down to business.

Ground Floor

Two streets up from Spite's ragged old market is a slighly more quiet street than the competeitions between urchins and stallholders to see who can yell the loudest.  Here, tucked away in the middle of Deadend Hill, is the wide bannered sign set into the brick of a building spilling light onto the cobbles from its windows - the Sea and Sun.

Basement

The rules and regulations that cover the Bazaar are myopic, byzantine, and ever-changing.  While smugglers might choose to ignore those rules, the restaurant in the basement of Sea and Sun takes full advantage of both those rules and the smuggling.  In la Casa de Suavidad Silenciosa, private dinners are held.

Approximate Age: middling-late 30s
Gender Presentation: Female
Height: 5'3"
Build: Fashionably round limbs, a bit extra in the belly.

Eyes: Large, slightly wide-set, and golden brown.
Dress Style: Sensible, hard-wearing for work - there's not much point in having nice clothes if you're just going to get them floured and oily. When she's hosting or otherwise courting investors or guests, she cleans up very, very nicely.
Distinguishing Features:
Notable Possessions:
Manner of Speaking: A pleasant voice with a bit of the sweetness ground away.  Accented spanish when speaking English.  Her spanish is Caliche seseo.
General Attitude: A bit high-strung, maybe a bit short-fused. Pleasant enough.
General Impression: An entirely acceptable, maybe normal human being.

This section of the wall is covered in strips of paper, some torn, some not - bits of scribbles about money, employment, or anything else someone might care to leave in a bar appear here.
